Before we joined Riverlands, we didn't know much about Montessori education. Frustrated & a little bored with community playgroup, we were looking for a playgroup to stimulate our very active and busy son. When we saw how well the environment is purposefully set up to assist in a childs development, we decided to do a school tour. All our questions were answered & convinced us this will give our kids the best possible start. Now 4 years on & with a second child at Riverlands, we are loving seeing our children thriving in this environment and being part of a great school community.

Montessori learning really helped my son to have a wider world view and an amazing sense of self. The culture at Riverlands is fantastic and our son benefitted from the smaller class sizes and having a class aide in addition to his teacher right through from Children's House to Upper Primary. Now that he's at high school we can really see the amazing benefits that Montessori learning has given him. His education at Riverlands has been a true gift.

My children love coming here. Each child is seen in their own unique way, allowing them to learn self discipline and have freedom within the limits.

I HIGHLY recommend you book in an observation of a classroom to see how the classroom community works together and also the practical life lessons they learn. See for yourself how wonderful this school really is.
